Firms Turn Trash Into Cash
...Lakewood, Colo., based ZeaChem Inc. hopes to start work later this spring on a roughly $34 million Boardman biorefinery that will use poplar trees to create the latest generation of ethanol technology. The trees will be supplied by GreenWood Resources Inc., a Portland company that operates a 17,000-acre tree farm near Boardman.
