...James P. Imbler, president and chief executive officer of Lakewood, Colo.-based ZeaChem, said his company isn't out to "reinvent the wheel" when it comes to developing its technology.
That, perhaps, gives ZeaChem an advantage in a tough economy, he said, because the technology it uses is already well established. The company uses biochemical and thermochemical processing to convert hybrid poplar trees to ethanol.
