Jim is an accomplished senior executive with experience in directing multi-billion dollar energy, petroleum, refining, chemical, and trading operations. In addition, he is an entrepreneur who has led new businesses in startups focused on commodities, business services, and software. Jim has been President and CEO of FuelSpot, a venture-backed Internet trading platform for fuels; Fuels Management, a coal upgrading business; and CEO Equity, a leveraged buyout firm. Jim was also SVP of Business Development for Evergreen Energy, a publicly-traded company with technology for upgrading coal. Prior to these assignments, Jim was President of the Koch Petroleum Group, where he was responsible for the refining, pipeline, energy and petroleum, asphalt, and trading businesses. He started his career with FMC, where he held a variety of engineering and management positions. Jim holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA, both from the University of Kansas. |

Dan is an experienced venture manager with deep industry experience in product development in the chemicals and biotechnology sectors. He is co-inventor of the ZeaChem technology. Prior to ZeaChem, he identified and evaluated venture investments for Koch Industries. Prior to that, he was President of Chronopol, Inc., a unit of Coors Brewing Company, where he started up and ran a new polymer materials business based on polylactic acid, a renewable-derived, biodegradable polymer. Before Coors, he was a project manager with Bechtel, where he was responsible for international technology transfer and process design for a major project-financed agribusiness & biotechnology project. Before Bechtel, he was President & CEO of Engenics, a startup bioprocess development company, and held a succession of executive leadership positions at Gould, Inc. Dan has numerous patents, a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton, and an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School. |

Tim is an expert chemical process modeler and is a co-inventor of the ZeaChem process. Prior to founding ZeaChem, Tim was an independent consultant serving clients in the biofuels, syngas and Fischer-Tropsch areas. He was Process Development Manager at Chronopol, where he supervised a group that developed manufacturing technology to produce biodegradable plastics based on polylactic acid. He also served as Process Design Engineer with the C.W. Nofsinger Company, where he worked on projects in the pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, corn wet milling, corn dry milling, and petroleum industries. Tim has numerous patents, a Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Illinois. He is a licensed Professional Engineer. |

Andy has nearly twenty years of experience in corporate and project financial analysis and fundraising in the energy industry. He worked most recently as VP of Corporate Planning & Analysis at Evergreen Energy, a publicly-traded company, after holding a variety of roles there in business development and finance. Prior to Evergreen he was VP and the Senior Oilfield Services Equity Analyst at Stifel, Nicolaus, & Co., and held a number of buy-side and sell-side equity analyst positions with leading financial and investment firms. Andy has been recognized twice in the Wall Street Journal's All-Star Analyst Survey for earnings estimate accuracy in the Oilfield Services Industry: #1 in 1998 and #5 in 2001. Andy graduated with honors in Economics from Connecticut College, earning a BA in History and Economics. He also earned an MBA from the Columbia University School of Business. |

Bob has over 30 years of global petroleum industry experience, including 26 years at Royal Dutch Shell. His Shell experience included senior manufacturing, supply, distribution and strategic planning positions in North America and Europe. From 2001 to 2005, he was Vice President Supply for Shell Europe Oil Products where he was responsible for $30 billion in annual revenue. Most recently he was the CEO and a director of Aurora Biofuels, an algae based renewable fuels start-up. Previously he served as the President and director of LS9, a sugar based industrial biotechnology start-up. Bob has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University. |

Angus has over 30 years of engineering, construction and operations experience, primarily in the refining industry. At Coffeyville Resources, Angus served as Operations and Process Engineering Manager overseeing #1 and #2 crude, distillate HDS, utilities and others. Angus was Operations Manager and Technical Services Manager at Sinclair Refining's Wyoming refinery. Prior to Sinclair, he served in various capacities at Koch including Principal Engineer leading major projects, Manager of Engineering and Laboratories, and Manager of Commercial Development overseeing acquisition, joint venture and major project scoping functions. Angus has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa. |

Roger has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry with a focus on process engineering, project management and plant management. He was the founder of Extractica, a company that developed a clean fuels technology and provided the technical consulting services to the petroleum refining industry. Prior to that, he was the Manager of a Project Management group for Koch Industries, executing new oil refinery projects. Before Koch, he was the Plant Manager for a Coastal Refining & Marketing refinery, and prior to that the Plant Manager for a fuel ethanol plant at High Plains Corporation (acquired by Abengoa). In addition to this operating experience, he was a Project Manager for a large engineering, procurement and construction firm. Roger has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas and holds one patent for a fuel desulfurization technology. |

Joe has twenty years of experience providing business, legal and regulatory guidance to the traditional, alternative, and renewable energy sectors. Prior to joining ZeaChem in 2010, Joe was President of Sulde Ridge Investments where he provided business and project development services to entrepreneurial enterprises in the renewable alternative energy sectors. Joe has served as Director of Project Development for both Great Point Energy and Rentech, leading efforts to commercialize their synthetic natural gas and Fischer Tropsch technologies. Joe has also served as Regional Counsel at Calpine Corporation and Contracts Manager for Siemens and Westinghouse. Joe holds a BS in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and he received his Juris Doctor from Case Western School of Law. |

Carrie has over a decade of experience developing energy and environmental initiatives for local and federal governments, non-governmental organizations, and public and private corporations. Prior to joining ZeaChem in 2008, Carrie was Greenhouse Gas Program Administrator for the City and County of Denver. She spent four years at Evergreen Energy, a publicly-traded company with technology for upgrading coal, as Manager of Government Affairs. At Environmental Defense, Carrie focused on air quality issues at the local, regional and federal levels. Carrie began her career in Washington, DC, where she worked at the Federal Trade Commission and The Dutko Group, working primarily on energy related issues. Carrie graduated with honors from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. |

Chris is a successful early venture founder and promoter with experience in commercial development and international trade. He co-found, grew, and successfully exited Plascon Inc., a company which imports conversion equipment and establishes turn-key operations and new ventures in the ethylene industry. Prior to this Chris managed a multi-million dollar region for Rockwell where he directed OEM and distribution relations in the industrial power transmission sector as well as negotiated long term sales agreements. In addition to his roles in the industrial section, he has been called to assist in early and small venture valuation and support smaller publically traded organizations on background and intelligence used in earnings calls and investor presentations. Chris holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Colorado's Leeds School of Business. |
